Description and Specification for Lab Tenders
Digital Rockwell Hardness Tester.
DESCRIPTIONS:
This "NEW" hardness tester combines our best selling
Rockwell hardness tester with our new digital indicator upgrade. This
brilliant combination gives you the very best functions of a digital
Rockwell hardness tester yet has the ease of use of our analog hardness
testers. Conforming to ASTM E-18 Rockwell Hardness tester standards, A
perfect, rugged performer suited for any environment including heat
treat facilities, tool rooms, workshops, laboratories and inspection
labs.
The Rockwell hardness is determined by the application of a preliminary
test force (minor load or preload), followed by an additional load
(major load) to reach the total required test load. The minor load
provides the zero or reference position. The major load is applied and
held for a predetermined amount of time (dwell time) to allow for
elastic recovery. Then the major load is removed, while still
maintaining the minor load.
